TP-Link WR841ND, Can't connect to Unifi...

I just bought a new router TL-WR841ND where on the package it says Unifi ready.

I connected and everything was okay except I can't connect to the net. I'm not sure what I did wrong.

I've called TM to ask them to give me my Unifi PPOE password but they told me that they can't as they're upgrading their system so I got the password by myself by viewing the page source element in the router page.

Anyone here using this router and anything I need to take note? sad.gif

P/S: the version in my tp link is 8.0

Basically, what are the available options in streamyx land line, other than unifi, and what is the pricing?

Will anyone be nice enough to post a summary?

(As in the attached pic, just curious, 2560kbps downstream rate and 512kbps upstream is for which streamyx package and what is the pricing of it? Is this a acceptable speed for home surfing and downloading?)

Is Streamyx blocking port 80 ?,

I just found out that port 80 has been blocked on ip 175.144.x.y

However, if the ip is on 125.x.y.z then port 80 works

Can someone else verify what I have found ?

DIGI MAKES ME GO CRAZY!,

So...... Anyone met this problem before???

I using Digi Supplementary Lines last year and decided to terminate it on Oct 2012 and change it to Smartplan DG48.
And before I can terminate it and change to other plan, they told me that I need to clear all my bills before changing to other plan, so I DID CLEAR MY BILLS!
And now on the new year of 2013, I online pay my bill using RhB and state my account number 1.4xxxx. When I call to DIGI HELPLINE, they told me that ' Miss, you're paying for your previous account that still have balance of RM284, your new account number is 1.5xxxxx'. I was confused now. why I have two account number and the previous one still have balance that I've not yet pay when I was asked to clear all my bill before can change to SmartPlan??? They even told me that is my final billing?! vmad.gifvmad.gif
No notifications, no email, no message, no phone call and suddenly they told me I have two account number?!

ANYONE CAN HELP ME?!
What's going on?! what previous account and what new account????

hi i got a question about the home plug.
like most of you all, im placing my modem and router in the living hall while i wanted to watch hypptv in my upstair room. so i amlooking for aztech homeplug to use it. my question is:

1. will the home plug work if i plug it on the extension plug?
2. does the 3 phase electrical system which is common is most household now will cause a problem? or must i conenct them within the same phase of electrical system?
3. if the other end of the homeplug was plugged into a switch, can i extend the port to use for internet and hypptv?

please enlighten me!

What is interesting is all the comments. Basically from what I gather, Telstra (Australian equivalent of TM) has stopped adding more ADSL ports due to NBN (Fiber) rollout. A lot of residents of Australia can't even get ADSL or Fiber internet and is stuck to Wireless internet.

Company branch is still using the old streamyx wifi Dlink router

Everyone knows that the default username and password are "tmadmin" and some of them are playing havoc with it

Is there a way to change the default username / password for the router ?

Unifi router problem, Unable to connect to router page

Hi all, I have no idea whether I'm posting in the right place, however I'm trying to ask for help or suggestions that can solve my current problem now.

Here's my problem, I'm unable to connect to my internet since 2 days ago. Then, I called up Unifi to try solve my problem, the representative guided me to change this and that but eventually still nothing worked.
She asked me to reset the router by clicking the button behind the router, then connect the Ethernet cable to a laptop, however, I'm unable to connect to the router page 192.168.0.1, there's an triangular yellow icon on the LAN icon on bottom right of my screen.

p/s: if you need any further detailed situation, please ask.

Any sifu can enlighten me? :/

Unknown activity on Unifi devices, Unifi Modem & Gateway

Hey Sifu,

I'm a user of VIP20.

I recently discovered my ONU / VDSL 2 Modem and residential gateway have unknown activity going on. (I.e the LAN 1 LED on both devices keep blinking although no one is accessing the net or HyypTV) Please refer below image for the LED blinking in blue circle for both devices.

I tried switch off all the devices but return the same scenario once i switch back on.

Please advise ?

recently i just got my unifi and surprisingly the hypptv have good picture quality over conventional aerial signal.
my old man ask if the line can be wired to his room tv or not.
this is what i've tested:

1. Using TP-Link Home plug, im able to setup the stb in his room
2. However, this is tedious coz we need to bring the device up and down depends on where he wana watch it.
3. i was asked to buy extra decoder and do the below setup:

modem
|
router --> standard unifi router with port 4 vlan.600 --> stb
|
homeplug (plug on LAN1~3)
|
homeplug (plug to LAN1~3)
|
router --> any router that can set vlan.600 on LAN4 --> stb

this is what ive visualized so far. im not familiar with networking.
please tell me if this will work or not. thank you!
