Problem description:
Ok, to be honest , maxis fibre is ok with normal internet connection , but when comes to whatsapp with connecting wifi ( maxis fibre ) , i found my whatsapp facing messages delay on receiving and delivering, and before sending out the message , i found the status bar below the contact name is blank one, normally have to wait 25-30 seconds like that the status bar just appear sth ( last seen on XXXXXX ). that's mean if i sending or receive message also have to wait the status bar show sth.
But this problem wont happen on first time connecting with maxis fibre, it only happen when my smartphone is hibernate for 10-15 minutes above.
I am using Note 2, software is 4.1.2 , baseband version : N7100DXDMF2.
So start from last year December after i install maxis, this problems had follow me for 8 months, i tried to escalate to maxis forum and call them a lot, they only follow the normal procedures like ask me to reinstall whatsapp or updates to latest version, besides that i also tried to format my note 2 many times. and check all my smartphone setting already.
After complaining a lot on this issue, finally maxis had sent the engineer visit my house and i show them what is happening, after checking and testing everything they just replace my Thomson router only, but problem still remains.
So, overall this is happened on my site, in additional , i also visit some of my frens with using maxis fibre , it's ok, besides that, unifi , streamyx is fine also.
Lastly, my case in Maxis still pending for solution, until now, the maxis helper just told me the maxis had some problems with samsung device, but one thing, i got htc also, but also the same problem.
Haiz, just sharing what i met and looking forward anyone familiar with this could give me some advise , i really dont know how to do on this beside waiting the contract expired and change back to Unifi.
