Facebook page lags,

i've been using google chrome browser , All the while its been running smoothly, but since yesterday the facebook page is so laggy and not responsive, especially when i turn on my facebook chat. so i tried it with firefox and its smooth, but today both of my browsers will lag on facebook page only. and this only happens to facebook page, other websites are fine

need help.
i've tried reinstalling chrome but it doesnt work.
