Hello all lowyat sifus,
my dad's office have 10 employees and each of them has a computer on thier table,
the 10 computers right now is working just like a normal computer and it is all connected to a switch.
where all the files are stored individually and other computers access it through network.
recently, my dad bought a secondhand server, DELL POWER EDGE 1950
and now my dad wants me to configure and put everything (all the 10 computer files) into the server,
then allowing the 10 computers to read/write through the server.
My dad rush me everyday to complete it asap but i have totally no idea how to do so =(
can anyone please assists me?
I google-ed a lot and what i done was just create a domain server and gave each of the computers a name under the domain server. I tried log in using one of the computer and there are alot of things cannot be access and it require administrative username and password. I have set one of the user as administrative and tried to log in using that domain name but it says "operation failed require elevation"
and one more thing, any idea how to block facebook/youtube/etc websites for a period of time ? (Eg. from 9am - 6pm no facebook/youtube/etc will be accessed) for that 10 computers only.
